Photographed the Niss Family and Kyle for his senior photographs. Kyle informed me he was not enthused about taking his pictures...I got the distinct impression this would be torture the entire time for him. Despite his reluctance and my please for a smile with his teeth showing we were able to get lots of shots=) Also my plea for not being able to feed my children if his mom was not able to purchase photographs helped just a bit.

Trash the Dress

I finally will be doing my first session tommorrow evening...this is going to be so cool...pics will follow...can't wait!

I had the opportunity of photographing the Allen/ Dinslage wedding on August 21....we had so much fun! There are such a unique couple and just compliment each other so well. I always love being able to get some shots in between the ceremony and reception...this wedding party was crazy...so fun=) Loved their chalkboard, football game and bowling antics...just good stuff! Thanks guys!

Once again I am going to try and post more...if I posted here like I posted on my Facebook I would have a full time job keeping them going...good grief!

I am working on finishing the studio space in my home...I can hardly wait for it to be complete..I think we will have carpet in 2 weeks. It is so exciting to have this finished and have a larger space to work from! Woohoo!

Moving

We think we will be moving on March 13th...keep your fingers crossed again! Everytime we think we have this house sold things change so we hope this will be our last set of buyers! I can hardly wait to move and start on the studio space in the basement. Wedding season is almost here and I am really looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. Meanwhile we will keep packing and hanging out for the next 19 days...keep your fingers crossed!

Christmas Orders

Alls Yalls that has an order...bring it on...my lab has hired extra elves this year and are turnin things around like I have never seen....they rock!

Wow how lame....haven't posted anything since last February.....this year has been crazy busy...thats a good thing. right now I am listening to my daughters wrestle like three boys...they are seriously obnoxious...I am so thankful for them...no marshmellow girls here. hope to get some things posted related to photography but probably not gonna happen today!

January

Ok seriously time to get back to business. January has been really busy with bookings for this summer and I have been working on two albums. Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to photograph the Bstandig wedding. I think they all had a great day despite it being cold! I know they enjoyed their trolley ride=) My husband and I also finished another flip house in January in case anyone is looking! 6010 s. 35th St. very cute.......we wish we could live in it! Hope everyone is staying warm this winter seems like it is never going to end so we can start boat season!

Christmas gifts

I recieved the best crhistmas gifts this year!!!! i am so lucky. I am now the proud owner of a print from one of my moms paintings. I have number 2 of 60 i believe it is. I will try to post a picture of it soon. My mother in law also hagev me the coolest toolbox of my own and it is awesome! My husband loves it so now he doesn't have to share any tools with me anymore!

Christmas cards

You would think that they photographer would have the best christmas cards of her children...appparently that does not apply to me. The thought of a christmas card occured to me but I have plenty of time right? maybe not...I guess I will do that today.....add it to the list=) so hold onto your socks here it comes.

snow day

I guess we dodged the bullet on this storm.....my girls wore their pajamas backwards, slept with a spoon under their pillow....apparently these are things that will ensure a snow day from school and they appeared to work this time. Jason my husband will be on vacation next week so I plan on having all my reprints out so we can maybe get some of this shopping done.

Westroads Mall

Like everyone else watching the last two days unfold has been heart wrenching....to have so many peoples lives altered in such a short time in such a way is horrific. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families and with the shooters family.

I love the first snow day of the year!
even if we didn't get any snow. .......=( maybe i'm the only one who misses it.....althought I would take an afternoon on the boat as well!
I am also a new aunt this weekend to Michael Gabreal....can hardly wait to hold him!
I have been working on the wedding album of Kristen's....they were married on Thanksgiving weekend and it was really fun. I photographed several weddings of her friends and it was nice to have familiar faces. I wil hopefully have this pictures posted by the beginning of next week!

Okay I really thought I would be able to keep up with this blog business a little better but apparently not! There are just not enough hours in the day. The album I have been working on is for Kelli and Nick....lovely families and just very smart people! Here's a couple of pixs from their wedding.

Bridal Show at Holiday Inn

Oh man am I tired. I like to talk and today I think I talked myself out. They were a ton ofeople there and fun to talk to old friends. If anybody missed the show there is another show coming up in October at the MAC center in Council Bluffs and it should be a great show as well!

Seriously sweet couple! I was so glad it didn't rain for their service outside as predicted....that would have been a huge bummer. They had a lovely reception and I was glad to have met them! Will post pictures soon. This month has been a little busy!
