Christmas gifts

I recieved the best crhistmas gifts this year!!!! i am so lucky. I am now the proud owner of a print from one of my moms paintings. I have number 2 of 60 i believe it is. I will try to post a picture of it soon. My mother in law also hagev me the coolest toolbox of my own and it is awesome! My husband loves it so now he doesn't have to share any tools with me anymore!

It is finished. My christmas card...I think I hear the hallelujah chorus.

Christmas cards

You would think that they photographer would have the best christmas cards of her children...appparently that does not apply to me. The thought of a christmas card occured to me but I have plenty of time right? maybe not...I guess I will do that today.....add it to the list=) so hold onto your socks here it comes.

snow day

I guess we dodged the bullet on this storm.....my girls wore their pajamas backwards, slept with a spoon under their pillow....apparently these are things that will ensure a snow day from school and they appeared to work this time. Jason my husband will be on vacation next week so I plan on having all my reprints out so we can maybe get some of this shopping done.

Westroads Mall

Like everyone else watching the last two days unfold has been heart wrenching....to have so many peoples lives altered in such a short time in such a way is horrific. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families and with the shooters family.

I love the first snow day of the year!
even if we didn't get any snow. .......=( maybe i'm the only one who misses it.....althought I would take an afternoon on the boat as well!
I am also a new aunt this weekend to Michael Gabreal....can hardly wait to hold him!
I have been working on the wedding album of Kristen's....they were married on Thanksgiving weekend and it was really fun. I photographed several weddings of her friends and it was nice to have familiar faces. I wil hopefully have this pictures posted by the beginning of next week!

Okay I really thought I would be able to keep up with this blog business a little better but apparently not! There are just not enough hours in the day. The album I have been working on is for Kelli and Nick....lovely families and just very smart people! Here's a couple of pixs from their wedding.

Bridal Show at Holiday Inn

Oh man am I tired. I like to talk and today I think I talked myself out. They were a ton ofeople there and fun to talk to old friends. If anybody missed the show there is another show coming up in October at the MAC center in Council Bluffs and it should be a great show as well!

Maria and Steve

Seriously sweet couple! I was so glad it didn't rain for their service outside as predicted....that would have been a huge bummer. They had a lovely reception and I was glad to have met them! Will post pictures soon. This month has been a little busy!

Shea and George

These two had one of the nicest days of the year I think. They could not have been more fun to work with and I was lucky to be a part of their day. I will try to post a teaser photo tommorrow!

Cortny and Cristian

I would say rain go away but I really don't mind it! finished up proofs from Cortny and Cristian and will have their book done by the end of the week. They have the cutest little girl I have ever seen(other than my own girls of course) she should really be in a baby magazine!

St. Mark Preschool

Last week a I photographed one of my preschools. They are always fun as you know how kids can be....always honest and forthcoming. It is a refreshing change from weddings and their proofs will be delivered tommorrow! I hope the mommies like them!

Bridal Show

Sunday was a busy day at the DC Centre Bridal show. I think it was a great show and I had a chance to talk to a lot of people and have booked a couple weddings this morning. It's always fun to talk to toher vendors and catch up with old friends at these shows too!

Podwinski-Powell Wedding

What a stange weekend! After seeing the forcast for this weekend, I was very worried for the outdoor wedding that was planned for Saturday afternoon. The weather held off (albeit a little bit windy) for Cheryl and Jon and we were able to get some great pictures of them! Today I will probably spend mostof the day working on those images. I can hardly wait for them to see them!
